Are they Scones or Biscuits?</h2>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Whatever they are still delish.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I needed a snack for Tot's morning snack.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Found a recipe for Lunchbox treats.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
hmmmm.... looked interesting </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
but it was written in weights, Americans use cups.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I searched and came up with some other recipes</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
to make a conversion possible.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Delightfully soft scones</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<ul style="list-style-type: none;">
<li style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; margin: 0px; text-align: left;">1/2 butter (100 g) butter softened</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; margin: 0px; text-align: left;">1/3 c (75 g) sugar </li>
<li style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; margin: 0px; text-align: left;">1 Large egg, beaten</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; margin: 0px; text-align: left;">1 Tsp vanilla</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; margin: 0px; text-align: left;">2 C (225 g) white whole wheat flour</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; margin: 0px; text-align: left;">2 tsp of baking powder</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; margin: 0px; text-align: left;">1/2 tsp ground cinnamon</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; margin: 0px; text-align: left;">good handful of golden raisins</li>
<li style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; margin: 0px; text-align: left;">1/4 C (4 TBSP) milk</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Preheat oven to 350 (175 C).</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Cream together the Butter and sugar, add vanilla and beaten egg. Sift together the flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Stir into sugar mixture, it will be stiff. Add raisins and milk. Mix together gently. Lightly knead. roll out 1/4 inch (5 mm thick) and cut into 12 circles or separate into 12 balls and mash into appropriate thickness. bake on cookie sheets or bread stone. ( i used a pampered chef round stone).</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
bake at 350 (175) for 12- 18 min. use a toothpick to check for doneness.</div>
<ul style="list-style-type: none;">
<li><br /></li>
</ul>

Yesterday his Christian band <span style="font-style: italic;">Savan</span>t opened for KDLL radio station annual Solstice Party. Big event, parking and booths were in the pasture (yes step out of car into pile of horse poo). Then last night and tonight his Rock Band<span style="font-style: italic;"> Danger Pig</span> played out at a bar called Moosequitos. On top of that this evening there was a gig at St. Elias Brewery, best pizza in town.<br /><br />so hope everyone is doing well.<br /></div></div>aksunflourhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16488580038244267591noreply@blogger.com0
